Summary

Roku, the #1 TV streaming platform in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, is hiring a Content Publicity Coordinator to support strategic press campaigns for its Content portfolio (including Roku Originals, The Roku Channel, sports initiatives, and Howdy). The role focuses on executing integrated publicity efforts, creating press materials, and coordinating communications and events to drive impactful media coverage.

What you'll do

  • Execute and support integrated publicity campaigns across broadcast, trade, radio, and digital media for Roku Originals.
  • Draft and distribute press materials (e.g., press releases, blog posts) to secure coverage for Roku’s Content business.
  • Oversee collateral materials such as coverage reports, go-to-market decks, and campaign recaps for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide executive communications support, including preparation and briefing for media interviews.
  • Lead partner communication related to FAST channels and sports licensing deals.
  • Serve as a central liaison across talent, agency partners, production studios, agents, and internal executives.
  • Coordinate press initiatives and experiences (e.g., mailers, set visits).
  • Support industry events including film festivals, screenings, and client events.
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, social, and content programming teams to align launches.
  • Participate in PR planning and strategy ideation for Roku’s content business.
  • Coordinate and oversee press events featuring talent, including travel logistics, glam/styling coordination, budget oversight, and on-site execution.

Requirements

  • Studio or agency experience preferred; otherwise 2 years of industry experience.
  • Strong enthusiasm for and awareness of pop culture.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • Maturity and professionalism to engage with talent and talent representatives.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with high discretion while maintaining accessibility.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced entertainment environment.

Conditions

  • Hybrid work: in-office Monday through Thursday; Fridays flexible for remote work (role/location dependent).
