Brand Strategy Manager

Summary

Bose Corporation is a privately owned global leader in audio experiences, entering a new era across premium and luxury categories. The Brand Strategy Manager will help evolve and grow the Bose brand by strengthening positioning, identity, communications, consumer engagement, and market performance across the portfolio. This role sits within the Premium Audio Marketing Strategy team, shaping global brand priorities, objectives, and initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Write tactical and conceptual creative briefs to guide creative and cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with creative, integrated marketing, and cross-functional teams to execute strategy through to activation.
  • Develop consumer-driven positioning for product launch campaigns with product marketing and GTM strategy teams.
  • Monitor and enforce brand positioning and brand guidelines across communications and consumer touchpoints.
  • Track brand health metrics and provide regular KPI and growth-driver updates to inform short- and long-term strategy.
  • Build deep understanding of consumers (motivations, pain points, perceptions) to ensure strategies resonate.
  • Serve as day-to-day strategy lead for consumer research and testing, defining objectives and translating learnings into action with clear recommendations.
  • Conduct ongoing and project-based research on competitors, cultural themes, and channel trends to uncover actionable insights.
  • Support development of seasonal, annual, and long-term brand plans, defining opportunities, initiatives, objectives, and KPIs.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in brand strategy, brand management, or agency strategy (consumer electronics/technology experience preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field.
  • Proven ability to craft strong creative briefs that lead to effective execution.
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to use first-party quantitative marketing data and consumer insights to guide decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to drive understanding and alignment with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience conducting primary and secondary research and synthesizing insights (consumer, competitive, cultural) into actions.
  • Ability to translate data and insight into creative, differentiated ideas.
  • Familiarity with brand health metrics and KPI interpretation.
  • Knowledge of modern marketing channels and integrated channel planning.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and timelines simultaneously.
  • Global brand experience preferred but not required.
