Partnership Sales Account Executive

Summary
The New Orleans Saints and Pelicans are seeking a Partnership Sales Account Executive to generate revenue by developing and selling integrated marketing partnerships across the Pelicans and Saints properties. The role focuses on building a qualified prospect pipeline, understanding client marketing objectives, and creating customized partnership packages that drive value for both partners and the organization.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects through prospecting, research, outreach, discovery, and ideation.
- Manage the sales process from initial touchpoint through contract execution while meeting or exceeding individual, team, and department goals.
- Develop relationships with prospective corporate partners via strategic conversations to understand business objectives and conduct basic needs analyses.
- Create and present custom partnership proposals aligned to prospect objectives across Pelicans and/or Saints assets.
- Identify local and national trends and emerging categories and adjust sales and service strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with Partnership Marketing to grow assigned partnership categories and revenue across both properties.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders including ticket sales/operations, marketing, analytics, facility operations, content, broadcast, community relations, and finance.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Represent the organization with professionalism and integrity at all times.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or related discipline and/or equivalent relevant work experience in sports marketing/sales, advertising, and/or events.
- 1–2 years of business development experience in a related industry.
- Experience with partnership sales processes and solutions-based selling (preferred).
- Proven prospecting and deal-closing ability, including securing meetings via cold outreach.
- Fluency in brand marketing and integrated partnership campaigns (preferred).
- Strong business acumen, creative problem-solving, and professionalism.
- Strong presentation skills, including creating and delivering executive-level presentations.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, relationship-building skills, and attention to detail.

Conditions
- Full-time salaried non-exempt position.
- Work location: Metairie, Louisiana.
- Varied schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on NBA/NFL schedules; fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
