Summary
Golden State Warriors is hiring a Manager, Experiential Events to lead end-to-end execution of high-profile brand, community, private, and experiential programs across Chase Center, Thrive City, Sephora Performance Center, and offsite venues. The role bridges executive strategy and on-the-ground delivery to ensure premium event standards, operational efficiency, and strong stakeholder relationships.
What you'll do
- Execute experiential events strategy aligned with marketing objectives, brand standards, and organizational goals.
- Serve as primary liaison with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, Community Relations) to integrate event strategies into broader campaigns.
- Manage and mentor coordinators and representatives, including performance reviews and workload distribution.
- Develop project timelines, creative briefs, and detailed workflows to improve team efficiency.
- Research and secure off-site venues; lead site visits with internal and external clients.
- Support venue selection and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and brand alignment.
- Create detailed event layouts ensuring production, capacity, logistics, and safety/regulatory compliance.
- Direct creation and maintenance of event schedules, workflows, and timelines.
- Secure required permits and maintain relationships with local agencies.
- Oversee event-specific budgets and support departmental forecasting.
- Use data analytics and post-event evaluations to measure KPIs and inform future strategy.
- Manage relationships with external venues, vendors, agencies, and partners to secure resources and technologies.
- Foster a culture of high performance, creativity, collaboration, and team development.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (preferred: hospitality, event management, or related field).
Minimum 5 years of event management or experiential marketing experience overseeing large-scale, high-profile corporate or hospitality events.
Proven team leadership and motivation experience; working knowledge of union environments preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, event management software, and digital marketing tools; working knowledge of AutoCAD preferred.
Strong strategic thinking and complex problem-solving ability; able to drive results under pressure.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Conditions
Full-time, onsite role.
Flexible schedule required; evenings and weekend shifts may be needed.
