Sales Strategy and Operations Associate

The Sales Strategy & Operations Associate partners with senior sales leaders to assess performance and deliver data-driven insights that drive revenue growth, productivity, and customer value for LinkedIn Learning. The role also leads operational and planning processes for annual targets and go-to-market motions.

What you'll do

  • Advise senior sales executives on growing and optimizing LinkedIn Learning through data-driven, actionable recommendations.
  • Drive strategic planning processes (e.g., customer segmentation, headcount planning, financial and territory planning, quota setting).
  • Lead cross-functional strategic projects shaping go-to-market motions; present insights and recommendations to executives and global sales operations partners.
  • Lead and scale operational, planning, and GTM motions specific to the Learning business.
  • Build and scale analyses across planning and operational processes as an analytical backbone for the North America sales strategy and operations team.
  • Run sales operational processes including quota/annual targets, territory allocation, audits, reporting, dashboard development, and data quality checks/maintenance.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (business operations, sales leadership, HR, finance, systems teams) to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or related practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, management consulting, finance, or a similar analytical/operational role.
  • 2+ years of experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • 1+ year of experience with SQL.
  • Preferred: strong quantitative decision-making and ability to influence with insights.
  • Preferred: experience presenting to senior executives and communicating effectively.
  • Preferred: advanced Excel skills (data analysis and financial modeling).
  • Preferred: experience with Tableau and SQL/Presto or willingness to learn.
  • Preferred: ability to solve complex problems, innovate, and collaborate cross-functionally.

Conditions

  • Location options: New York, San Francisco, or Sunnyvale.
  • Hybrid work model (both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days based on business needs).
