Senior Email Marketing Manager

WavesReach is seeking a Senior Email Marketing Manager to own newsletter growth, engagement, and monetization across a high-volume, performance-driven portfolio. This role focuses on treating newsletters as a revenue channel while maintaining editorial quality through optimization and strategic leadership.

• Own end-to-end newsletter strategy, publishing, and optimization across multiple newsletters
• Optimize subject lines, preheaders, layouts, CTAs, and content flow for maximum performance
• Maintain consistent, high-quality publishing schedules and review all outgoing content before sending
• Integrate ads natively within newsletters to maximize CTR and revenue without compromising reader trust
• Test ad placements, formats, and messaging to continuously improve monetization strategy
• Collaborate with writers, AI tools, designers, and growth teams to build repeatable processes
• Provide weekly performance insights and improvement recommendations
• Establish guidelines and quality standards for the team

• Strong experience in email marketing and managing multiple email campaigns at scale
• Deep understanding of email performance metrics: open rate, CTR, conversions, revenue per send
• Hands-on experience managing 15-20+ newsletters simultaneously
• Comfortable using AI tools and email platforms
• Strong editorial and layout instincts with excellent attention to detail
• Strong QA mindset with zero tolerance for broken links, typos, or formatting errors
• Excellent organization and project management skills
• C1 level English proficiency
• Nice to have: Experience with Beehiiv, Substack, or Ghost; Ad monetization and sponsorship experience; Content-led growth background; Experience scaling multiple content brands
