Coordinator, Social Media, Well People

Summary

e.l.f. Beauty is a multi-brand beauty company focused on clean, cruelty-free products, including the Well People brand. The Social Media Coordinator will support Well People by executing and optimizing social content across key platforms to drive brand relevance, engagement, and campaign performance.

What you'll do

  • Maintain and execute the monthly social media content calendar, ensuring alignment with brand priorities, campaigns, and product launches.
  • Source, request, and coordinate user-generated content (UGC) aligned with campaign needs and community engagement strategies.
  • Create social creative briefs and partner with the Creative team to develop platform-native concepts.
  • Support development and execution of social content with Creative, Brand, and Influencer teams.
  • Schedule and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, X, and emerging platforms.
  • Monitor trends, platform updates, cultural moments, and emerging channels to identify content opportunities.
  • Own community management: moderate comments, respond to DMs, and proactively engage to foster a responsive community.
  • Support influencer/community gifting initiatives including product coordination, shipping logistics, and tracking.
  • Execute social media giveaways and engagement programs, ensuring compliance and smooth delivery.
  • Track and report social performance, surfacing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align social content with broader marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Based in Los Angeles and available to work in-office 3 days per week.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content coordination (preferred).

  • Strong understanding of social platforms, trends, and best practices for short-form and community-driven content.

  • Highly organized with strong project management and multitasking skills in fast-paced environments.

  • Creative mindset, strong attention to detail, and passion for beauty, culture, and social media.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

  • Familiarity with social scheduling, analytics, or creator management tools (a plus).
