Summary
Paula’s Choice Skincare is a global, science-backed skincare brand founded in 1995. The Copywriter on the Brand Marketing team creates high-volume, performance-minded copy across DTC and key marketplaces/retail partners (notably Sephora and Amazon). The role translates brand storytelling into conversion-driven content while supporting global adaptation and localization.
What you'll do
- Produce high volumes of on-brand, performance-minded copy across DTC, Sephora, and Amazon.
- Translate Brand Marketing campaigns into marketplace-ready storytelling and channel-specific messaging.
- Write and optimize PDPs, launch copy, campaign assets, emails, paid media, retail moments, and educational content.
- Maintain and evolve brand voice across platforms and regions while preserving core tone and integrity.
- Participate in fast-paced creative sessions and cross-functional workflows.
- Use consumer insights and business context to improve effectiveness and performance of copy.
- Collaborate with Senior Copywriter, Editorial team, Project Manager, and creative partners to deliver work quickly and on brand.
- Partner with global stakeholders to localize copy for different markets and cultural contexts.
- Iterate in real time based on feedback, performance data, and shifting priorities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional copywriting experience.
- Ability to perform in fast-paced, volume-driven environments and manage multiple projects at once.
- Experience in video storytelling and integrated brand campaigns.
- Strong creative portfolio with high-visibility, produced work.
- Strategic thinking with strong execution and polish.
- Comfort working in lean teams with autonomy and urgency.
- Ability to adapt brand voice across channels and markets.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and collaborate across time zones.
- Preferred background in DTC, marketplaces (Sephora/Amazon), creative agency, beauty/wellness, or CPG.
- Highly valued: experience supporting global or localized content across markets.
- Passion for beauty and skincare; standout: science-backed skincare and ingredient knowledge.
Conditions
Location: Based in Seattle, open to remote.
Hours: Typically regular business hours; some flexibility and extended hours required.
Travel: Minimal travel may be required for productions, team meetings, or events.
Physical: Ability to sit for long periods and handle extended screen time.
