Associate Project Manager

Summary

The Walt Disney Studios is hiring an Associate Project Manager to support the Growth Marketing Strategy team by keeping campaigns and creative workflows organized, accurate, and on schedule. The role partners with Strategy, Creative, Legal/Brand, Ad Ops, and Channel teams to ensure efficient campaign planning, asset delivery, and day-to-day operational updates.

What you'll do

  • Maintain and update the campaign calendar with key dates, launches, and creative deadlines.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, notes, recaps, action items, and readiness trackers; track follow-ups to completion.
  • Support campaign intake documentation by gathering required information from cross-functional partners.
  • Collect, organize, and version creative assets, copy, and revisions; enforce file naming conventions and correct folder placement.
  • Provide channel teams with trafficking inputs such as timelines, URLs, and dynamic creative variation details.
  • Open and update creative request and creative approval tickets (brand/legal review) with complete information.
  • Monitor ticket progress, send reminders for ETAs/missing inputs/deadlines, and keep delivery logs/trackers current.
  • Conduct light checklist-based QA on assets and links, confirming specs and cross-channel version consistency; flag and escalate discrepancies.
  • Deliver weekly status snapshots covering deliveries, approvals, and blockers; maintain documentation of file paths, tracker updates, and timelines.
  • Help collect inputs for post-launch retrospectives (e.g., slips, missing copy, timing conflicts).
  • Maintain organized shared drive folders and refresh templates (agendas, intake forms, tracker views) to ensure operational hygiene.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of internship or professional experience in project coordination, marketing operations, creative operations, or related roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, highly cross-functional environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive/SharePoint/Teams, Google Docs, Google Drive).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred: experience supporting marketing/creative/digital production workflows.
  • Preferred: familiarity with ticketing/task systems (Asana, Jira, Workfront, Airtable, or similar tools).
  • Preferred: basic understanding of digital marketing channels (Social, Display, CTV, Search) and interest in campaign operations/trafficking/DCO (training provided).

  • Location-based hiring range provided for New York.
