Sales Operations Coordinator

Summary

Our Home is a fast-growing Better For You snack company with a portfolio of well-known household brands across the U.S. The Sales Operations Coordinator supports seamless coordination between Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to improve customer service and operational execution. The role focuses on order processing, reporting (including OTIF), and cross-functional process improvements.

What you'll do

  • Ensure customer orders ship on time and in full (OTIF), balancing fulfillment needs with finished goods inventory levels.
  • Review inventory frequently to confirm sufficient stock to fulfill order requests and minimize risk.
  • Act as an internal advocate for customers by aligning customer expectations with operational capabilities.
  • Partner with the Customer Operations team to implement efficient ordering practices and uphold policies.
  • Analyze customer ordering patterns to identify insights and improvement opportunities.
  • Create and maintain customer-specific OTIF reporting on a regular schedule.
  • Investigate OTIF-related fines and deductions, provide guidance to Sales Finance, and analyze trends to reduce future deductions.
  • Establish and monitor customer Weeks of Supply reporting; recommend orders and provide shipping expectation insights based on inventory.
  • Assess, refine, and document procedures; implement strategies that improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Support continuous improvement by comparing shipments vs. demand forecasts and assisting with promotions, new/discontinued items, and out-of-stock situations.
  • Collect and manage customer master data, policies, and documents related to product ordering and transportation.
  • Support additional sales operations tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline.

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales support, administrative, or operational roles.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with sales teams and cross-functional partners.

  • Ability to manage data, generate reports, and track sales performance metrics.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Advanced Excel and/or Power BI skills (highly preferred).

  • NetSuite experience (highly preferred).

  • Experience with grocery retailers, distributors, and consumption data sources (Circana/Nielsen/SPINS) (preferred).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
