Social Media Lead
Summary
Kodiak Robotics builds AI-powered autonomous ground transportation technology for commercial trucking and the public sector. The Social Media Lead owns Kodiak’s social channels and turns campaigns, product updates, and milestones into on-brand content that supports awareness and investor perception. This role drives channel strategy, content production, community engagement, and performance analytics across major platforms.
What you'll do
- Lead daily management of LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and emerging social channels.
- Develop platform-specific posting strategies and maintain an organized content calendar.
- Translate campaigns, product updates, events, and announcements into channel-appropriate content.
- Monitor competitive activity and platform trends and adjust strategy accordingly.
- Write crisp, on-brand copy aligned to Kodiak’s tone and strategic messaging.
- Create short-form content using existing footage, images, and assets in collaboration with internal creative resources.
- Partner with video and design teams to produce social-ready assets for campaigns and launches.
- Monitor and respond to comments and brand mentions daily to maintain an accurate and thoughtful presence.
- Flag sentiment shifts, misinformation, or controversial topics to Marketing and Communications.
- Support proactive engagement with industry influencers, analysts, and partners when appropriate.
- Partner with Marketing, Comms, Legal, and Investor Relations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support major announcements and events (press, partnerships, executive appearances, milestones).
- Align social performance with broader campaign goals and OKRs.
- Track KPIs across engagement, reach, follower growth, traffic, and content performance; produce insights and recommendations.
- Identify repeatable content patterns, high-performing formats, and experimentation opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
5+ years managing social channels for a technology, robotics, mobility, or AI-adjacent brand.
Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify technical topics without losing accuracy.
Strong creative instincts and experience crafting short-form video, motion, and visual storytelling.
Strong judgment and comfort operating in regulated, high-visibility industries.
Strong familiarity with social analytics tools and performance measurement.
Comfort working cross-functionally with executives, communications, designers, and product teams.
