Junior Producer

Airrack is a tight-knit YouTube production team creating ambitious, innovative videos that reach millions of viewers. The Junior Producer is an entry-level production role supporting Associate and Lead Producers to keep active productions running smoothly while learning to eventually own productions.

• Assist the Associate Producer with procuring and testing props, wardrobe, and set pieces prior to shoot day to ensure alignment with the creative vision.
• Pack and transport props, wardrobe, and supplies for local and remote productions; maintain organized inventory and restock as needed with approval on spend.
• On shoot days, set up and tear down production supplies, props, and crew meals; handle last-minute runs, pickups, and returns.
• Coordinate with creative and post-production to support in-studio shoots by sourcing props, visual aids, wardrobe, extras, and gear; prep in advance and run shoots on the day.
• Provide general support to Associate and Lead Producers across active projects as needed.
• If remote, manage outbound reach-outs for upcoming concepts including securing locations and specialists, supporting research, reconciling budgets and receipts, and adding confirmed travel to the production calendar.

• Strong interest in building a career producing high-level YouTube videos with the goal of becoming an elite Producer.

• Deep familiarity with YouTube and an analytical mindset about what makes videos work from a production perspective.

• Fast, self-directed working style; able to track tasks, follow up proactively, and prevent items from slipping.

• High ownership and pride in work; able to see what needs to be done without waiting for instruction.

• Bonus: any prior production experience (including informal experience).

• Bonus: existing relationships with vendors, crew, or talent in the Los Angeles area.

• Entry-level role with direct mentorship from Associate and Lead Producers and real responsibility from day one.

• May support local and remote productions; remote option described with additional coordination duties.
