Summary
BTIG is a global financial services firm seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to join its Corporate Communications team. This entry-level role supports internal and external communications by ensuring messages are clear, consistent, and aligned with BTIG’s brand standards. The position focuses on writing, editing, and creating visual assets that translate complex information into engaging communications.
What you'll do
- Draft, edit, and distribute internal and external communications, including press releases and announcements
- Create presentations and data visualizations using branded templates
- Design charts, infographics, and other visual assets to illustrate key messages and data
- Coordinate content for the website and social media platforms, balancing text and visuals
- Develop visual formats for newsletters, reports, and fact sheets
- Maintain and update marketing literature quarterly to meet modern design standards
- Provide event support by creating invitations and ordering signage and branded materials
- Assist with planning and logistics for firm-wide events and communications initiatives
- Manage and track inventory of branded items for new employees, gifting, and events
- Collaborate with departments such as HR and Technology on announcements, events, and initiatives
- Provide administrative support to the Corporate Communications team as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
- 0–2 years of related experience (internships or campus leadership roles preferred)
- Excellent written, verbal, visual, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Collaborative, professional, and positive attitude
- Ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Curiosity and willingness to learn emerging trends, technologies, and communication strategies
- Strong eye for design and ability to translate data into clear visual stories
- Discretion and professionalism with confidential information
- Commitment to high ethical standards and brand reputation
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); advanced PowerPoint and Excel chart skills preferred
- Experience with design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Canva) highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in visual storytelling, graphic design, or data visualization (academic or professional)
- Interest in financial services or corporate communications
- Authorized to work full time in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
Conditions
- Estimated base salary range: $75,000–$85,000 per year (may be eligible for bonus or overtime depending on position)
