Entry Level Business Development Representative
Summary
Bisnow is a leading B2B media platform in the commercial real estate industry, delivering news, events, and marketing solutions across multiple markets. The Entry Level Business Development Representative (BDR) role supports sponsorship and advertising/event sales by prospecting, setting meetings, and helping convert opportunities into proposals and contracts. The purpose of the role is to develop sales skills and progress toward a Business Manager position with ownership of a book of business.
What you'll do
Establish and maintain relationships with marketing decision makers across targeted commercial real estate markets.
Drive event sponsorship sales through in-depth prospecting research to source and confirm sponsor participation.
Consistently prospect new business to build a strong pipeline for senior-level sales team members.
Connect with prospects via phone and email; respond to inbound leads.
Support the event production team to create sponsor-friendly programs aligned with client interests.
Brainstorm and share relevant topic ideas based on industry trends.
Track, understand, and work toward individual and team KPIs on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
Document daily activities in Salesforce CRM.
Collaborate with the sales team to accelerate the sales cycle and expand reach into target accounts.
Work cross-functionally to support successful sponsorship, marketing, and financial performance of events.
Requirements
0–2 years of sales experience (internships, coursework, or early professional roles acceptable).
Ability to learn quickly and sell evolving digital and event products.
Entrepreneurial yet disciplined mindset; creative yet organized work ethic; ambitious yet humble attitude.
Strong team orientation and demonstrated success in group environments.
Interest in an externally facing client role and growing into a Business Manager/sales position.
Interest in commercial real estate, media, and digital marketing solutions.
Receptive to feedback and constructive criticism.
Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced, frequently changing environment.
Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States; no employment visa sponsorship available.
Conditions
Expected start: May.
Hybrid schedule: in office 3–4 days per week and from home 1–2 days per week.
