Assistant, Digital Content and Operations
Summary
Golden State Warriors is hiring an Assistant, Digital Content and Operations to create, publish, and distribute compelling content across its websites and mobile app. The role supports digital operations and brand loyalty by ensuring content quality, accessibility, and performance through SEO/GEO and analytics-informed best practices.
What you'll do
Create, publish, and distribute written and visual content on websites and the mobile app.
Provide coverage for home and road games and occasional Thrive City events.
Support web and app initiatives for ticket sales, retail, corporate partnership activations, and community initiatives.
Collaborate with the Manager, Digital Operations to build and execute an overall content plan.
Ensure content is accessible, inclusive, and aligned with SEO and GEO best practices.
Monitor and implement industry best practices across digital platforms.
Perform website and mobile app quality assurance reviews.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience creating written and/or digital content (sports, entertainment, or retail preferred).
Experience publishing content for a news outlet or website, including copyediting and headline writing.
Proficiency with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
Familiarity with HTML and CSS (plus).
Experience building and managing content in a content management system (CMS).
Strong writing and editing skills with knowledge of AP style and SEO/GEO.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and build positive relationships across the organization.
Strong understanding of Golden State Warriors/Valkyries, Chase Center, and Thrive City events.
Conditions
Full-time, onsite position.
Compensation: $20.00 per hour plus bonus.
