Summary
eStoreLabs is a data-driven eCommerce company providing performance-based strategies to help brands grow online sales across major marketplaces. The Digital Merchandiser will manage and optimize product catalogs and content for US e-retailers (with a focus on Amazon and Walmart) to improve visibility and conversions through data-driven recommendations.
What you'll do
- Manage and optimize online product catalogs to increase visibility and conversions across major US marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, Target, and others).
- Oversee content production, including copywriting participation, proofreading, and ensuring compliance with eRetailer requirements for both text and graphics.
- Ensure content is properly optimized according to SEO recommendations for eRetailers.
- Analyze performance data, conduct research and audits, perform competition analysis, and develop eCommerce strategy recommendations based on insights.
- Assess client brand positioning, category dynamics, and competitive landscape across Amazon and other US FMCG eRetailers.
- Upload, correct, and manage content and assets (including renaming, uploading/downloading, and segregation).
- Translate client inputs and brand guidelines into actionable content and optimization plans.
- Handle file management, database adjustments, data migration, and PIM maintenance.
- Stay current with eCommerce trends and continuously research eRetailer functionalities, widgets, and features.
- Edit and/or create Product Detail Pages and Brand Stores.
- Maintain day-to-day contact with clients and eRetailers as needed.
- Monitor seasonal content and deals when applicable.
Requirements
- Proven eCommerce experience on US-based eRetailers; required experience on Amazon.com, and preferably Walmart/Target and Instacart (ideally within FMCG).
- Experience with PIM/DAM systems, including asset organization, maintenance, and syndication; practical knowledge of Salsify and/or Syndigo preferred.
- Strong analytical and project management skills with excellent communication and high attention to detail.
- Ability to run client/projects independently.
- Native-level US English or advanced English (minimum C1).
- Demonstrated success optimizing product listings and improving visibility.
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices.
- Experience optimizing both visual and written content for eRetailers.
- Knowledge of SEO practices for eRetailers.
- Positive attitude with strong problem-solving mindset.
- Assertiveness and confidence in presenting ideas.
- Preferred: basic design adjustment skills in Photoshop and Canva.
- Nice to have: strong PM tooling (e.g., Asana), knowledge of additional US retailer requirements (e.g., Kroger), familiarity with Commerce IQ and AI testing tools, and experience with content A/B testing or UX feedback.

- Engagement type: B2B contract or contract of service via the Deel platform for international cooperation.
