Summary
eStoreLabs is a data-driven eCommerce company providing performance-based strategies to help global enterprises grow online sales. The Digital Merchandiser will manage and optimize product content and catalogs across major US marketplaces (especially Amazon and Walmart) to improve visibility and conversions.
What you'll do
Manage and optimize online product catalogs and listings across US e-retailers (Amazon, Walmart, Target, and others) to increase visibility and conversions.
Oversee content production, including copywriting, proofreading, and ensuring text/graphics meet each eRetailer’s requirements and SEO recommendations.
Analyze performance data; conduct research, audits, and competitive analysis; develop eCommerce strategies and recommend changes based on insights.
Assess client brand positioning, category dynamics, and competitive landscape across Amazon and other US FMCG e-retailers.
Upload, correct, and manage content and assets (renaming, uploading/downloading, segregation).
Translate client input and brand guidelines into actionable content and optimization plans.
Manage files and databases; support data migration; maintain PIM systems.
Stay up to date with eCommerce trends and continuously research e-retailer functionalities, widgets, and features.
Edit and/or create Product Detail Pages and Brand Stores.
Serve as day-to-day contact for clients and eRetailers as needed.
Monitor seasonal content and deals when applicable.
Requirements
Proven eCommerce experience with US-based e-retailers; required experience on Amazon.com; Walmart/Target and Instacart preferred; ideally within FMCG.
Experience with PIM/DAM systems (asset organization, maintenance, syndication); practical knowledge of Salsify and/or Syndigo.
Strong analytical, project management, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to run clients/projects independently.
Native US English or advanced English level (minimum C1).
Demonstrated success optimizing product listings and improving visibility.
Understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices.
Experience optimizing visual and written content for e-retailers.
Knowledge of SEO practices for eRetailers/marketplaces.
Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and confidence presenting ideas.
Preferred: basic design adjustments using Photoshop and Canva.
Nice to have: PM tools expertise (e.g., Asana); knowledge of additional US retailer requirements (e.g., Kroger); familiarity with CommerceIQ and AI testing tools; experience with content A/B tests or UX performance feedback.
Conditions
Contract: B2B contract or contract of service via Deel for international cooperation.
Workload: full-time preferred; open to freelance arrangements.
