Summary
GFiber (an Alphabet company) provides Google Fiber and Google Fiber Webpass internet services to homes and businesses across the United States. The Head of Sales, Nevada will launch and run sales activities across residential and SMB channels in the Las Vegas metro area to drive customer acquisition, penetration, retention, and market expansion. This role leads local sales teams and partners cross-functionally to deliver data-driven strategies and business results.
What you'll do
Develop and execute sales strategies with the Market team to drive customer growth.
Lead, hire, develop, and manage local sales teams and partners (e.g., door-to-door, inventory acquisition, vendor partners) across residential and commercial segments.
Present data-driven strategies and recommendations to leadership and drive execution against them.
Build sales plans and measurement approaches using data to track effort, outcomes, and channel performance.
Review and manage contract agreements, ensuring clear communication and transparency across field and office teams.
Collaborate with technical operations to build and sustain a healthy network.
Grow and maintain relationships with key partners across multiple metro areas to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
8+ years of direct leadership experience in sales or operations roles, including managing teams and growing business/customer base.
Experience presenting data and strategy-based recommendations on channel metrics and performance to executive leadership.
Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external cross-functional teams and stakeholders (e.g., marketing, field maintenance).
Ability to travel up to 20%.
Preferred: MBA or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred: 10+ years of direct leadership experience in sales or operations.
Preferred: B2B sales and/or marketing experience (residential and commercial acquisition focus).
Preferred: ISP/telecommunications experience using project management, business judgment, experiment design, and analytical/quantitative skills.
Preferred: Experience operating as both leader and practitioner (e.g., closing deals while coaching and developing reports).
Conditions
Full-time position.
Based in the Las Vegas metro area.
Travel up to 20%.
Compensation includes base salary range plus bonus, cash award, and benefits (location-based variation).
