Entry Level Business Development Rep (Retreat Events)
Summary
Bisnow, a leading B2B media platform in commercial real estate, is hiring an entry-level Business Development/Sales Representative for its invite-only Executive Retreats (Escape, Ascent, Elevate). The role focuses on prospecting and relationship-building with senior CRE decision makers to curate attendees and sponsorship opportunities, supporting the retreats' growth and success.
What you'll do
Establish and maintain relationships with transaction decision makers across targeted markets and asset classes.
Consistently prospect new business to build a strong pipeline for the senior-level sales team; develop expertise in targeted/specificity prospecting.
Work closely with VP and Directors to reach prospects via email campaigns and multiple outreach channels.
Curate lists of high-quality potential retreat attendees and invite them to Bisnow’s executive retreats.
Assist in organizing retreat get-togethers and building the Escape/Ascent/Elevate community.
Develop, leverage, and manage relationships with influential CRE leaders; seek referrals to expand the network.
Engage sponsorship prospects via phone and email; respond to inbound leads.
Brainstorm timely topic ideas aligned with trends in the industry.
Track and execute against individual and team KPIs on daily/weekly/monthly cadences.
Maintain accurate client/prospect data and integrity within Salesforce (CRM).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sponsorship, marketing, and financial performance of events.
Requirements
0–2 years of sales experience and/or internships.
Strong hustle, intelligence, enthusiasm, and comfort in a high-energy, fast-paced, frequently changing sales environment.
Entrepreneurial yet disciplined mindset; creative yet organized work ethic; ambitious yet humble attitude.
Knowledge of commercial real estate (CRE) or a strong interest in the CRE community.
Sales fundamentals including handling objections, researching prospects, driving meetings, and closing.
Ability to communicate with prominent, assertive professionals with tact and ease.
Excellent follow-up, documentation, organizational skills, and persistence.
Proven ability to excel in a team environment.
Interest in growing into an externally facing client/sales role.
Receptive to feedback and constructive criticism.
Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States; no employment sponsorship available.
Conditions
Hybrid schedule: in-office 3–4 days/week and work-from-home 1–2 days/week.
