Communications Coordinator
Summary
NoHo Hospitality Group is seeking a Communications Coordinator to support internal and external social media, marketing, and public relations efforts. The role focuses on administrative support, content capture and editing, and coordinating communications projects in alignment with company standards and hospitality culture.
What you'll do
Provide administrative support to the Communications Manager and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Comply with departmental policies, service procedures, company standards, and applicable laws.
Oversee social media platforms, including influencer campaigns and photoshoots.
Capture still photography and video across company venues.
Edit photos for social media and press use in a timely manner.
Monitor and track media appearances of chefs, restaurants, and key principals.
Maintain a database of press clips in print-resolution PDF format.
Populate company materials with brand insignia as directed.
Research and execute tasks related to special projects.
Requirements
College graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate.
1–3 years of experience in social media, content creation, communications, marketing, or public relations (hospitality preferred; fine dining group experience a plus).
Strong interest in hospitality, marketing, social media, design, photography, and public relations.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including technical and creative writing; multilingualism is an asset.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse personalities with tact and maturity.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and administrative skills.
Proficiency with Google Workspace (or similar), Adobe Creative Suite, and willingness to learn new digital platforms.
Experience with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and social media management platforms (e.g., Sprout Social).
Demonstrated interest in the restaurant industry, food media, and culture.
