Hospital Account Executive
Summary
Inogen is hiring a Hospital Account Executive to drive sales, clinical adoption, education, and utilization of Inogen products within a defined territory across hospital systems and other medical facilities. The role serves as the primary commercial contact and field-based product expert, ensuring successful onboarding, ongoing clinical support, and long-term brand loyalty.
What you'll do
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across VA Medical Centers, IDNs, medical facilities, sleep labs, and hospice networks.
Engage departments such as Procurement, Respiratory Therapy, Home Oxygen, COPD Coordination, sleep labs, and respiratory specialty centers.
Participate in product evaluations and onboarding processes, including VA committee reviews when applicable.
Partner with Inogen distributors to set targets and execute co-marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with decision makers to support and expand product adoption.
Deliver clinical education and product training to clinicians across assigned facilities.
Navigate VA, IDN, sleep center, hospice, and purchasing pathways effectively.
Use a clinical sales methodology to discuss clinical materials, data, and studies.
Maintain accurate and timely CRM documentation.
Represent Inogen at conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Travel up to 75% as required.
Requirements
Sales experience required.
3–5+ years of relevant experience.
Clinical knowledge of respiratory or pulmonary care.
Ability to drive adoption in complex healthcare environments and deliver clinical education/training.
Understanding of VA and IDN organizational structures and purchasing processes (preferred).
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related clinical field (preferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
Conditions
Base salary expected between $71,000 and $85,000 annually plus variable compensation under a Sales Commission Plan.
Travel up to 75%.
