Vice President of Sales

Summary

Martin Yale Industries, a manufacturer of print finishing, mailing, and packaging equipment, is hiring a Vice President of Sales to lead go-to-market strategy across its portfolio of brands. The role is focused on business development and revenue expansion by identifying, developing, and closing new opportunities across direct, dealer, distributor, OEM, and strategic account channels.

What you'll do

  • Drive revenue growth across all Martin Yale brands and product lines and lead overall business development strategy.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel sales strategies (direct, dealer, distributor, OEM partners, national/strategic accounts).
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new strategic partnerships, OEM relationships, and enterprise-level accounts.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline with discipline around prospecting, forecasting, and conversion metrics; lead forecasting and planning processes.
  • Identify emerging opportunities in print production, finishing, packaging, and marking & coding markets; expand market share and enter new verticals.
  • Lead commercialization and market-entry strategies for new product launches; champion a hunter culture focused on new logo acquisition.
  • Ensure effective use of CRM tools to drive visibility, accountability, and growth.
  • Expand and strengthen dealer/distributor/OEM networks, including new partner acquisition and scalable dealer programs and pricing strategies.
  • Lead and develop teams across Customer Service, Direct Sales, and Channel Management; align inside sales, field sales, and channel teams to growth objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Marketing, Product Management, and Executive Leadership; provide market/competitive intelligence.
  • Serve as a key member of the Executive Team contributing to company strategy, growth, and profitability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales and business development.

  • Proven track record driving new business growth and securing strategic partnerships.

  • Experience managing multi-channel sales organizations.

  • Strong capital equipment sales experience.

  • Deep understanding of print, packaging, finishing, and marking & coding markets.

  • Experience launching hardware and consumables product portfolios.

  • Strong financial and business acumen.

  • Willingness to travel 40%+ and maintain corporate presence.
