Community and Events Program Manager

Summary

monday.com is hiring a Community and Events Program Manager to lead the strategy and daily operations of Tech School’s educator community. The role focuses on driving engagement, strengthening teacher relationships, and delivering online and in-person programming that supports and celebrates educators and students.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain project plans, timelines, and cross-functional workstreams across Tech School initiatives.

  • Own educator community strategy, operations, engagement, communications, and feedback collection.

  • Manage the online teacher community (Slack) by posting updates, moderating conversations, answering questions, and fostering inclusive dialogue.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for teacher-facing communications, aligning with instructors, curriculum, and logistics.

  • Plan and execute in-person and virtual programming (monthly program days, guest speakers, creative workshops).

  • Coordinate educator training sessions throughout the school year with internal and external facilitators.

  • Partner with Legal, Workplace, Design, Brand, and other teams to ensure smooth event and community initiative execution.

  • Create internal recognition moments for teachers (All Hands spotlights, newsletters, content features).

  • Monitor and analyze engagement metrics, community health, and participation data to improve programs and reporting.

  • Maintain a strong, consistent community voice and brand across educator-facing touchpoints.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in community management, youth programming, or event production.

  • Ability to manage complex programs end-to-end, including timelines, communications, and stakeholder coordination.

  • Experience managing online communities (Slack preferred), including moderation and engagement strategy.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a trust-building, connection-oriented approach.

  • Ability to lead events and create inclusive, welcoming experiences.

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and cross-functional workstreams.

  • Strong design and storytelling sensibility to produce cohesive, on-brand, community-centered content.

  • Familiarity with NYC public schools or youth-serving organizations (strong advantage).

  • Self-starter mindset with collaborative spirit and passion for bringing people together.

Conditions

  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days per week in the NYC office.

  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

  • For NYC-based hires: base salary range $100,000–$120,000 per year, with potential discretionary bonus and/or equity per company plans.
