The Director of North America Marketing leads the regional marketing strategy and execution, translating global brand vision into growth across e-commerce, digital, and retail channels. The role drives awareness, demand, and revenue while ensuring brand consistency and operational rigor.

What you'll do

  • Define and lead the North America marketing strategy aligned to global brand priorities and regional commercial objectives.
  • Translate global campaigns into regional go-to-market plans tailored by retailer, channel, and customer while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Own the North America marketing calendar, including prioritization, sequencing, and cross-functional alignment across promotions, campaigns, and launches.
  • Set investment recommendations (scale, test, or pull back) based on performance and business needs.
  • Lead omnichannel marketing planning with a digital-first approach across e-commerce, digital, and retail channels.
  • Partner with Media, Growth, and DTC teams on top- and mid-funnel strategies, paid media priorities, and creative inputs.
  • Contribute to performance marketing creative strategy to optimize assets by channel, audience, and objective.
  • Implement and brief local (non-global) campaigns, including channel launches and retailer-specific initiatives.
  • Own marketing performance tracking and deliver weekly/monthly executive readouts on media, sales, and campaign results.
  • Serve as a key connector across Sales, Brand, Media, Digital, PR, Influencer, Creative, and Education teams, sharing regional plans and learnings with Global and ANZ partners.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in brand, digital, or omnichannel marketing within beauty, consumer goods, or a similarly fast-paced category.
  • Proven experience owning marketing performance and results with strong financial and analytical acumen.
  • Deep understanding of digital commerce and performance marketing, including paid media, conversion, and optimization.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a high standard for accuracy, clarity, and executional excellence.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to execute in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Ability to use data to challenge assumptions, make trade-offs, and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering with global teams and adapting global strategies for regional success.
  • Passion for building brands rooted in science, transparency, and results.

Conditions

  • Location: Seattle, WA preferred; flexible on location (most roles are fully remote, with some hybrid/onsite roles at Seattle HQ).
  • Hours: Typical PST business hours with flexibility to work across global time zones as needed.
  • Travel: Less than 10%.
