Manager, Academy Content and Community Manager - L’Oreal Academies
Summary
L’Oréal Professional Products is hiring a Manager, Academy Content and Community Manager to lead marketing and social channels for the L’Oréal Academies and the Redken Exchange. The role focuses on building awareness, creating promotional assets, and driving ticket sales and occupancy through multi-channel campaigns. This position partners cross-functionally to execute digital and educational marketing strategies that grow the academy community.
What you'll do
Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to elevate academy visibility and drive ticket sales.
Manage promotional activities across channels including SC.com, social media, email marketing, print, and potential PR.
Create and oversee development of promotional assets (flyers, brochures, still content, video, and paid media) with strong project management.
Lead social media strategy for L’Oréal Academy and Redken Exchange, including content strategy, sourcing/creating content, scheduling, and optimization.
Drive community engagement and perform social listening to understand audience preferences and improve performance.
Track KPIs tied to promotions and ticket sales and deliver monthly performance recaps with actionable insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Digital, Brand Education, US Creative, SalonCentric) to execute campaigns.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Experience: 5+ years in digital marketing (preferably in beauty or salon industry).
Proven success developing and executing digital education and/or content strategies.
Deep understanding of social platforms, content creation, and influencer marketing.
Strong understanding of the beauty industry.
Technical: Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams; familiarity with SAP.
Strong project management, logistics, interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical: Ability to sit/stand/bend, set up fixtures and tools, and lift product boxes.
Schedule/Travel: Flexibility for nights/weekends based on academy schedule; quarterly travel to West Coast Academy.
Preferred: Cosmetology license (preferred, not required).

Work policy: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days work from home).
