Summary
Red Bull is hiring a VP, Club to lead sales performance and strategy across the US Club channel, reporting to the SVP of Large Format Sales. The role owns revenue, volume, profit, share, in-store execution, and senior retailer relationships while managing a team of National Account professionals. This position also partners with Red Bull HQ to shape global Club channel strategy and participate in global negotiations.
What you'll do
- Lead US Club channel strategy, defining long-term initiatives aligned to company direction, customer needs, market dynamics, and resources.
- Partner with Red Bull HQ to promote and develop the Global Club channel strategy and key priorities.
- Develop Club-specific price architecture, evaluating elasticity and value to market versus other channels.
- Create channel strategy including permanent packages and seasonal in/out variety packs.
- Drive winning strategies across all US National & Regional Club customers and lead annual business planning priorities (qualitative and quantitative).
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with Club retailers; develop joint business plans and manage profitable growth.
- Oversee account budgets, metrics, and chain account plans, activities, and results within the channel.
- Evaluate ROI by account; build benchmark systems to rate investments and adjust tactics accordingly.
- Ensure visibility agreements for multi-location product placement and maintain quality planograms; set channel expectations for merchandising and pricing.
- Coach and develop direct reports; provide leadership and support to account managers in building successful programs.
- Aggregate and analyze complex data quickly and translate insights into clear action plans.
- Co-develop international 1–3 year Club strategies with Global HQ and participate in global cost negotiations for international Club customers.
- Call on global buying desks and provide leadership to Key Account Managers supporting global Club customers.
- Represent the Club channel voice in US and HQ meetings and communicate objectives across RBNA and distribution partners.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Sales and Key Account experience, including Club channel experience.
- In-depth knowledge of sales within FMCG or spirits industry; DSD expertise preferred.
- Strong negotiation experience.
- Proven leadership and people management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
Conditions
Compensation: Base salary range $218,000–$265,000 plus cash incentives (offers may vary based on experience).
