Summary
TaskForce builds capacity and community for influential nonprofits, brands, and public leaders through high-impact experiential campaigns and large-scale public art. The Creative Activation & Experiential Producer leads bold, culture-shaping real-world campaigns and turns ambitious concepts into visible activations that resonate on the street and online.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute integrated citywide visibility campaigns (e.g., wildposting, wheatpaste runs, mobile activations, pop-ups, projections, street team deployments).
- Recruit, train, and manage street teams for flyering waves, merch drops, interactive installations, and rapid-response activations.
- Identify culturally relevant neighborhoods, placements, and moments to maximize campaign impact.
- Coordinate print production, vendor management, installation logistics, and field documentation.
- Ensure messaging consistency, brand integrity, and operational discipline in field execution.
- Produce creator-led pop-ups, surprise guest moments, press-preview walkthroughs, and limited-time public art drops designed for social virality.
- Plan and deliver projection takeovers and interactive public installations that drive user-generated content.
- Produce headline-generating public activations and immersive builds, including permitting, fabrication, installation, staffing, and run-of-show.
- Collaborate with artists, designers, fabricators, AV teams, and city agencies.
- Build and manage budgets; source and negotiate vendors across print, scenic, AV, fabrication, and staffing.
- Create production timelines and contingency plans; deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Design activations with documentation in mind (photo, video, creator POV) and partner with content teams to package for social and earned media.
- Track and report KPIs such as reach, press hits, influencer engagement, social impressions, and community participation.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years as a producer in experiential marketing, street marketing, cultural campaigns, or public art.
- Experience executing urban visibility campaigns and managing field teams.
- Strong understanding of influencer culture and translating IRL experiences into digital momentum.
- Strong vendor and creative network across the country.
- Experience designing activations that balance authenticity with scalability.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, culturally sensitive environments.
- Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
- Passion for using art, culture, and public space to drive social impact.
