Summary

PepsiCo’s in-house creative agency, The Studio (PepsiCo Beverages North America), is hiring a Social Media & Community Manager to help guide culture-shaping work across iconic beverage brands. The role focuses on active listening, community engagement, and translating audience and cultural insights into strategic recommendations for the creative team.

What you'll do

  • Monitor brand social channels and relevant online conversations to identify high-impact engagement opportunities.
  • Proactively identify conversations and communities that are strategically and creatively relevant for the brand.
  • Continuously track and respond to follower interactions, including comments, replies, and DMs.
  • Analyze brand and cultural trends and share insights with the creative team.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise on specific subcultures relevant to beverages and food.
  • Go beyond basic tracking by forming hypotheses and delivering a daily digest of observations and recommendations.
  • Use third-party tools to manage brand social pages.
  • Read and respond to consumer comments across social posts while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Use interactions to engage followers, probe for insights, and advance brand goals.
  • Follow escalation processes for negative feedback and issues.
  • Insert the brand into relevant trending conversations and engage with influencers, celebrities, other brands, and news moments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a strong interest in communications.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in social media.
  • Experience working across multiple social platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter/X).
  • Ability to blend creativity and analytics and turn insights into a clear story.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and flexibility with new tools, platforms, and processes.
  • Experience with social listening tools is a plus (e.g., Plot, Talkwalker, Hootsuite, TweetDeck).
  • Experience creating written presentations using Google Slides.
  • Must have indefinite right to work in the United States.

Conditions

  • Compensation range listed: $88,200–$147,650 annually, plus bonus (target 8% of annual salary, paid annually) based on performance and eligibility.
