The Learning & Engagement Account Executive role within the Enterprise segment focuses on identifying, qualifying, and closing new sales opportunities while acting as a strategic, trusted adviser to clients. The purpose of the role is to deliver against sales targets by aligning LinkedIn Talent Solutions to customer objectives and demonstrating ROI.
What you'll do
- Research customers and their objectives; prepare questions and insights ahead of meetings.
- Run discovery by practicing active listening to uncover buying motivators, decision criteria, investment propensity, and key stakeholders.
- Drive commitment and decision-making by aligning on a shared vision, articulating ROI/value proposition, and building internal champions.
- Collaborate with internal partners (e.g., Account Director, CSMs) to deliver a holistic solution aligned to customer objectives.
- Craft and negotiate commercial agreements using strong business acumen.
- Use data and insights to make investment recommendations and overcome objections.
- Plan and manage an accurate path to revenue for the relevant quota period.
- Maintain sales operational excellence through CRM discipline, detailed documentation, accurate forecasting, and pipeline generation.
- Leverage CRM and sales tools to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
- Basic: 6+ years of applicable sales experience.
- Preferred: SaaS sales experience or experience selling HR/healthcare technology solutions.
- Knowledge of software contract terms and conditions and ability to create fair transactions.
- Excellent communication, client management, time management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with C-suite executives.
- Ability to evaluate opportunities, resolve conflicts, close deals, and meet/exceed revenue goals.
- Proven ability to find, manage, and close high-level business within an existing customer base.
- Ability to use data to inform decision-making and persuade stakeholders.
- Ability to manage many prospects simultaneously and position solutions against competitors.

Conditions
- Work model: Hybrid (work from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days based on team business needs).
- Compensation: $157,000 to $240,000 OTE (range varies by factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and office location).
- Additional compensation: May include annual performance bonus, stock, and benefits.
