The Assistant, Press & Media Strategy role supports the AMG Press & Media Strategy team across all facets of publicity campaigns to help shape narratives and maximize meaningful press coverage.
What you'll do
- Oversee and maintain departmental organization, keeping press materials, files, contact lists, event calendars, and digital assets up to date and accessible
- Compile and distribute key press materials, including coverage roundups, press releases, and company media alerts
- Schedule internal and external meetings and coordinate event logistics for the press team
- Arrange and process vendor invoices, expense reports, and support departmental budget tracking with attention to detail
- Provide administrative and on-site support for publicity events (e.g., photo shoots, awards shows, media activations)
- Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally with other AMG departments and artist teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1–2 years of relevant PR or administrative experience (including internship experience)
- Highly organized, process-oriented, and self-sufficient with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong time management skills and ability to work from a to-do list
- Proficiency with organizational tools (e.g., Google Suite, Airtable)
- Strong collaborative communication skills in team settings
- Passion for the music industry and publicity
- Experience using project management tools (preferred)
Conditions
- Minimum 4 days per week in-office
- Hourly pay range: $19.23–$20.51 (base pay dependent on experience and business needs; range subject to change)
