Summary
Christian Dior Couture is hiring a Trainee, Digital Communications to support the Digital Communications team across digital press and influencer relations for multiple categories including Women’s, Men’s, Couture, Fine Jewelry, Timepieces, and Maison. The role supports daily operations and reporting while contributing to longer-term projects that align with the organization’s business objectives.
What you'll do
- Generate weekly press reports across all categories for digital press and influencer coverage
- Monitor, capture, and file digital coverage and clippings
- Handle sample trafficking and logistics for influencer talent requests
- Assist with weekly digital talent and press giftings
- Partner with the PR team to maintain shared closet space
- Manage logistics including shipping and receiving samples for send-outs
- Support PR events to ensure operational efficiency
- Assist with executing monthly DMR checks
- Create competitor analysis reporting
- Identify new influencer talents and social trends
- Assist with daily news updates
- Provide daily administrative support as needed
- Unpack new sample shipments and add items into the GPS system
Requirements
- Availability for a full-time, 12-month program
- Must be available Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm (Friday work from home)
- At least 6 months of prior experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent follow-through and attention to detail
- Good judgment, maturity, and discretion when interacting with digital talent and press
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to negotiate with internal and external groups
- Strong time management and prioritization; ability to work in fast-paced environments under timelines
- Ability to multitask and remain flexible
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Knowledge of Fashion GPS
- Knowledge of social platforms including Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
Conditions
- Compensation: $20/hour (estimated to approximately $3,467/month)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm; Friday work from home
- Program length: 12 months
