Summary
Roku is a leading TV streaming platform focused on connecting consumers, publishers, and advertisers across the TV ecosystem. The Account Manager partners with Roku Ad Sales clients and internal teams to ensure end-to-end campaign success from pre-sale through post-sale while growing key advertiser relationships and revenue.
What you'll do
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for top-tier advertisers and agencies.
- Own campaign lifecycle execution from pitch and launch through optimization, readouts, billing, and ongoing client engagement.
- Act as an expert on Roku ad products, partnering with Measurement, Analytics, and Product to align solutions to client goals.
- Manage and grow assigned accounts by understanding objectives, recommending strategies, driving renewals, and identifying upsell opportunities.
- Create persuasive, data-driven narratives to communicate performance, insights, and recommendations.
- Support Account Executives in client meetings, including presenting insights, metrics, and QBR materials.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to review and respond to RFPs.
- Ensure compliance with Roku ad guidelines; coordinate creative builds with Sponsorships/Design and Ad Operations.
- Ensure campaigns launch on time with clear communication across clients and internal teams.
- Monitor pacing and performance against KPIs; deliver regular status updates and reporting to stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot issues and collaborate cross-functionally on campaign activations and optimizations.
- Partner with Finance on monthly invoicing and support timely client payments.
- Work across multiple media types including Direct IO, PG, and PMP campaigns.
Requirements
- 3+ years of consultative account management/client services experience in ad tech or media planning at an agency.
- Experience in video and display advertising with a premium publisher, ad network, data vendor, or agency.
- Hands-on experience with programmatic video executions, workflows, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of PMPs, including setup and optimization to maximize revenue.
- Experience working with DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, ad servers, or other optimization platforms.
- Strong collaboration skills, proactive client engagement, and creative brainstorming mindset.
- Analytical and process-oriented approach with strong project management and deadline management skills.
- Reporting proficiency using Salesforce, Excel, Looker, PowerPoint, and Tableau.
- Familiarity with verification vendors (e.g., DoubleVerify, Integral Ad Science, Nielsen) and third-party measurement partners (e.g., Nielsen, Foursquare).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced, growing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Conditions
- Work model: Hybrid; in-office Monday through Thursday, with Fridays flexible for remote work (role/office policy dependent).
