Director, Business Development & Partnerships

Jobgether is hiring on behalf of a partner company for a Director, Business Development & Partnerships in the United States. This leadership role drives national partnership strategy and full-cycle deal execution with large health plans and PBMs to expand revenue, market presence, and long-term strategic relationships.

• Lead strategic business development with national payers and PBMs, including prospecting, pitching, and contracting.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers at strategic healthcare partners.
• Own and grow the health plan partnership pipeline, tracking progress against targets and revenue goals.
• Negotiate and execute partnership agreements aligned with organizational objectives.
• Identify and implement expansion strategies for existing partnerships and uncover new growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Customer Success, Sales, Business Development) to ensure execution and partner satisfaction.

• 5+ years of experience in business development or management consulting within the Health Plan / PBM space.
• Proven end-to-end partnership management experience (strategy, prospecting, pitching, contracting, execution).
• Ability to work autonomously as an independent problem-solver in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to escalate strategically important matters.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Highly organized, adaptable, entrepreneurial, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.
