Organic Social Media Manager

Summary

OpenTable, part of Booking Holdings and an industry leader in restaurant technology with 60,000+ partners, is seeking an Organic Social Media Manager for a 6-month full-time contract (mid-April to mid-October 2026). In this role, you'll own OpenTable's organic social presence across all major platforms and lead strategic content initiatives while managing a small team.

What you'll do

Own all organic social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X); develop and execute organic social strategy aligned with brand campaigns and seasonal moments; manage social content calendar and end-to-end workflows in Monday.com; ideate and create fresh social content assets; publish and maintain high-quality, timely content; manage and mentor two Diner Marketing Specialists; collaborate with local social teams and account management; analyze performance metrics and optimize strategy; lead influencer campaign ideation, sourcing, vetting, and execution; monitor and engage in community management across all channels; manage crisis situations and escalations in partnership with PR and Customer Support.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years professional social media marketing experience (B2C brand experience preferred); deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn; ability to develop platform-specific strategies; data-driven mindset with analytics and reporting experience; strong content creation skills with video and graphic design abilities; comfortable appearing in social video content; passion for restaurants and hospitality; proficiency in Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or Premiere Pro; community management, social listening, or customer support experience a plus; culturally fluent and aware of trends; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong project management and organizational abilities; experience managing approvals and stakeholder alignment.

Conditions

6-month full-time contract position, mid-April to mid-October 2026; New York location with in-office requirement 2 days per week (Wednesday and Thursday); salary $115,000-$125,000 USD annually (prorated for contract duration); flexible schedule accommodating global workforce; may require communication outside regular business hours for international collaboration and urgent matters; comprehensive inclusion and diversity commitment
