Summary
LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network, is hiring a Mid-Market Account Executive for Talent & Learning to generate new business and grow client relationships. This role focuses on prospecting, responding to inbound leads, and selling corporate recruiting solutions while consistently meeting or exceeding quota.
What you'll do
- Prospect consistently to build pipeline and develop strong relationships with prospects.
- Respond to inbound inquiries and conduct outbound outreach across the assigned region/territory.
- Identify client needs, position appropriate technology options, and sell corporate recruitment solutions.
- Create reliable forecasts and maintain transparency with management on pipeline status.
- Close new business at or above quota targets.
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan; document and share competitive information.
- Share market insights with product and marketing teams.
- Coach and support colleagues; contribute to developing and circulating team best practices.
- Proactively solve problems beyond core scope and take on additional initiatives as needed.
- Seek opportunities to lead and support broader company objectives.
Requirements
- 4+ years of applicable sales experience.
- Preferred: experience with recruiting, recruitment media, and/or HR software.
- Preferred: experience with SaaS sales and the Salesforce.com platform.
- Preferred: experience selling IT and/or recruiting solutions.
- Knowledge of software contract terms and conditions and ability to structure fair transactions.
- Strong negotiation skills and accurate forecasting ability.
- Ability to find, manage, and close high-level business in an evangelist sales environment.
- Ability to assess business opportunities and use data to inform decisions and persuade stakeholders.
- Ability to manage many prospects simultaneously while positioning against competitors.
- Suggested skills: communication, organization, goal setting, discovery process, deal closure.
Conditions
- Work model: hybrid (mix of home and LinkedIn office on select days based on business needs).
- Compensation: annual base pay range $131,000–$188,000 (varies by candidate factors and location); may include annual bonus, stock, and benefits.
