Summary
Book of the Month is hiring for its Growth & Creative Rotational Program to accelerate early-career development through varied assignments across growth and creative functions. The role supports acquisition and retention initiatives by executing and analyzing marketing, creative, social, and analytics work across multiple channels, with the goal of progressing into a specialized position after about two years.
What you'll do
- Coordinate and analyze monthly influencer programming, media buying efforts, and brand partnership opportunities, including sourcing/vetting opportunities and reviewing/approving content.
- Build, proof, launch, and analyze performance marketing campaigns across Book of the Month channels; support new channel launches and ad hoc analysis.
- Manage the creative workflow end-to-end by developing briefs, setting up projects, assessing requests, assigning tasks, and tracking dependencies and deliverables.
- Lead social community engagement, reshare standout UGC and influencer content, own the social editorial calendar, and present performance reports.
- Create, update, and report on member experience analytics including LTV models and rejoins; execute and analyze price tests/price increases; report on rejoin performance and propose offer/channel updates.
- Support Allurial (Romantasy subscription) growth by building/proofing/reporting on paid campaigns, designing/distributing surveys, managing social posts, and coordinating the influencer program.
Requirements
- Early-career profile with a strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly; demonstrates grit, perseverance, and receptiveness to feedback.
- Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative intuition with ability to ideate, research, and pitch optimization ideas.
- Strong taste and sense for effective acquisition-oriented content/aesthetics.
- Comfort with math and conducting data analysis (e.g., campaign analysis, LTV modeling, pricing tests).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with stakeholders at all levels.
- Interest in eCommerce, direct-to-consumer, and/or the book business.
Conditions
Salary range: $70,000–$90,000 per year (estimated $5,833–$7,500 per month). Program duration is approximately 2 years with placement into a specialized role based on performance, strengths, business needs, and demonstrated interests.
