Brand Creative Director (The Witcher)
Summary
CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Brand Creative Director to lead the creative vision for The Witcher franchise across all marketing and communications. The role involves defining the franchise's creative platform, directing world-class campaigns, and ensuring authentic representation of the Witcher brand while partnering with franchise leadership and cross-functional teams.
What you'll do
- Define and evolve the long-term creative platform for the Witcher franchise, ensuring all creative output reflects franchise goals and brand identity
- Oversee development of campaign concepts, creative briefs, scripts, and pitches for trailers, key art, social, digital, and experiential activations
- Guide internal and external creative teams in delivering art, copy, film, and design work with clear feedback and approvals
- Partner with Game, Narrative, Art Directors, and Franchise leads to integrate creative vision with franchise strategy
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of designers, writers, and producers
- Act as brand guardian across all marketing touchpoints, safeguarding the Witcher brand's global entertainment position
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in creative direction, brand marketing, or related roles in gaming, entertainment, or advertising
- Proven track record leading creative development for globally recognized IPs or AAA campaigns
- Demonstrated success translating brand and marketing strategy into campaign platforms and assets
- Experience collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams including game developers and narrative leads
- History of managing and mentoring creative teams
- Strong creative leadership and vision definition skills
- Expertise in evaluating and directing visual design, copywriting, film, and motion work
- Strategic thinking aligned with brand goals and audience insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Deep understanding of storytelling and brand building in entertainment
- Preferred: Experience with fantasy, RPG franchises; proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Miro; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; passion for games and The Witcher universe
Conditions
Location: In-office in hybrid or full-time capacity in Warsaw, Poland. Relocation required.
