Public Relations Coordinator
Summary
Rover is seeking a PR Coordinator to support the Global Communications team across the US, Canada, and Europe. You will manage media coverage monitoring, media relations, campaign coordination, and content creation to maintain Rover's brand reputation and support strategic priorities. This hybrid role reports to the Sr. PR Manager.
What you'll do
Consumer PR campaign execution and coordination; oversight of day-to-day always-on consumer PR activity including pet people panelists and blog pitching; media relations including inbox monitoring and inbound flagging; coverage monitoring and reporting with weekly company-wide reports; administrative support for agency coordination and PR calendar management; drafting and editing PR materials including press releases and blog posts; sourcing case studies and testimonies from community members
Requirements
2-3 years experience supporting PR and communications programs for consumer brands at an agency or in-house; excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; strong organizational and time management abilities; superior attention to detail; demonstrated success identifying process improvements; understanding of PR conduct with written and broadcast media; ability to thrive in fast-paced environment; critical thinking and problem-solving skills; customer-centric mindset. Bonus: Cision proficiency, international support experience, WordPress proficiency, influencer marketing and social media familiarity
Conditions
Hybrid (Monday and Thursday) in Seattle, Washington office.
