Amazon Content Manager
Summary
Paula’s Choice Skincare is a global science-backed skincare brand founded in 1995, focused on transparency, innovation, kindness, and community. The Amazon Content Manager owns the creation, optimization, and governance of content across Amazon to drive sales, improve customer experience, and maintain brand consistency. This role partners closely with eCommerce, marketing, design, and agency teams to execute content strategy that supports near-term performance and long-term brand growth.
What you'll do
- Manage and optimize Amazon product listings (titles, bullets, descriptions, backend keywords) to improve visibility and conversion while ensuring accuracy and consistency across markets.
- Own copywriting and editing workflows; maintain high-quality, on-brand, SEO-optimized content aligned to Amazon best practices.
- Partner with design/brand to produce and maintain compliant, high-performing product imagery and creative assets.
- Develop and implement A+ Content strategy (EBC, lifestyle modules, comparison charts, videos) to improve engagement and conversion.
- Conduct keyword research with agency support; monitor keyword performance, search trends, and competitor activity using tools such as Seller Central, Helium 10, and Jungle Scout.
- Optimize content for Amazon’s A9 algorithm to improve organic ranking and traffic.
- Manage and refresh the Amazon Brand Storefront, including templates, promotions, seasonal updates, banners, videos, and navigation improvements.
- Coordinate Amazon product launches by ensuring all assets (imagery, video, A+, listings) are tracked and delivered on time to support launch best practices.
- Monitor performance metrics (listing health, sales, conversion, reviews, AOV) and use testing (including A/B testing) to iterate and improve.
- Produce monthly and quarterly reporting on KPIs (e.g., organic sales growth, conversion, reviews) and recommend actions to evolve the content strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align Amazon content with broader omnichannel strategies, campaigns, and brand guidelines.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce content management; Amazon and/or beauty/skincare experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, and Amazon Marketing Services (AMS).
- Expertise in Amazon SEO, including keyword research, A/B testing, and A9 algorithm optimization.
- Experience with Amazon Ads (PPC) and other Amazon marketing tools.
- Ability to analyze data, interpret performance, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Creative mindset, proactive approach, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Nice to have: experience in skincare/beauty/consumer goods; familiarity with Walmart, Target, Shopify, TikTok Shop; knowledge of Google Analytics and other SEO/SEM tools; understanding of conversion optimization and sales funnel management.
Conditions
Location: Seattle (local candidates preferred); most roles are fully remote, and this role references Seattle HQ details.
Hours: Typical PST business hours with some flexibility required.
Travel: Approximately 3%.
