Summary
Bumble Inc. is seeking a Social Media Manager to drive hands-on social execution and creator-led storytelling across key platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram. Reporting to the Associate Director, Social Media, this role turns cultural moments and Gen Z insights into timely, on-brand content that advances Bumble’s social presence and community connection.
What you'll do
- Maintain and manage a robust content calendar to ensure consistent, timely publishing across platforms.
- Create original short-form video content aligned to Bumble’s brand voice and audience needs.
- Monitor emerging trends, sounds, and formats; proactively pitch ideas and define authentic ways for Bumble to participate.
- Edit and publish videos with strong hooks, clear storytelling, and pacing optimized for short-form performance.
- Capture and create real-time content at events, activations, shoots, and cultural moments.
- Showcase Bumble product features in creative, engaging, and accessible ways.
- Collaborate with creators, film crews, and social agencies to produce high-quality, platform-native assets.
- Attend shoots and events and oversee on-site content capture to optimize assets for social distribution.
- Support co-creation with creators and source community-led, authentic content.
- Participate in cultural listening sessions, trend reviews, and social audits with cross-functional partners.
- Translate Gen Z insights and emerging behaviors into actionable storytelling and content takeaways.
- Provide clear POV on what works and what doesn’t; recommend improvements and define “the way in” for trends and moments.
- Track weekly performance metrics and optimize content based on data, insights, and cultural learnings.
- Test, learn, and iterate creative approaches to improve engagement and performance.
- Support monthly and campaign-level reporting with insights and recommendations.
- Maintain strong understanding of platform algorithms, trends, and audience behaviors.
- Partner with Integrated Marketing, Creative Studio, Product Marketing, PR, Partnerships, Localization, and Member Love to brief and execute campaign-led social content.
- Serve as day-to-day execution contact for the social agency partner, supporting briefs, deliverables, and creative reviews.
- Ensure cohesive storytelling and consistent brand messaging across touchpoints.
- Contribute social-first ideas for campaigns, product launches, and cultural moments.
- Maintain an organized content pipeline and posting cadence while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Support coordination of social production budgets with oversight from the Marketing Lead.
- Develop clear creative briefs and toolkits for internal and external partners.
- Ensure all content aligns with Bumble’s visual identity, brand values, and tone of voice.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing.
- Active content creator with experience building and engaging a community on social platforms.
- Confident filming, editing, and publishing short-form video content.
- Deeply tuned into social and Gen Z culture with strong instincts for what will resonate.
- Experience with social analytics, scheduling, and trend tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Dash Hudson, or similar).
- Experience working with creators, influencers, and agency partners.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong creative point of view.
- Strong collaborator comfortable working cross-functionally and surfacing ideas proactively.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Conditions
