Contract Content Creator

PopSockets is a global digital-lifestyle company known for its iconic phone grips and expanding mobile accessory ecosystem. The Contract Content Creator will support the social media team by conceptualizing, filming, and editing scroll-stopping platform-native content to drive engagement across owned social channels.

This part-time contract role partners closely with the social team and works directly with the Founder and Head of TikTok to test new formats, align with brand moments, and bring the PopSockets brand to life.

• Concept, shoot, and edit phone-first, platform-native short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Feed, Reels, Stories, and emerging platforms.
• Appear on camera as a subject or host when needed, authentically representing the PopSockets brand.
• Collaborate with the social team and/or Founder to align content with campaign briefs, product launches, and brand moments while contributing original ideas.
• Test new content formats (short-form, interactive, and emerging trends) and apply curiosity about performance drivers.
• Manage production timelines independently and deliver creative assets by deadline.
• Monitor social trends and proactively pitch fresh content ideas.

• Proven experience creating content for TikTok and Instagram; portfolio or active channels required.
• Strong video production and editing skills (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
• Comfortable and confident on camera.
• Strong aesthetic judgment and storytelling skills with an understanding of what performs on social platforms.
• Ability to adapt content style to different consumer types (tech-forward/pragmatic and style-led/trend-aware).
• Ability to work independently, take direction from briefs, and incorporate feedback quickly.
• Strong communication and self-management; reliable and responsive for remote collaboration.

Nice to have:

• Experience with lifestyle, product, or accessory content; familiarity with PopSockets.
• Own filming equipment (camera/phone, lighting, stabilizer, etc.).
• An existing following or engaged audience.
• Familiarity with social analytics and performance drivers.

• Part-time contract role.
• Hourly compensation: $25–$35 per hour (based on experience).
• Work closely with the social team and directly with the Founder and Head of TikTok.
• Remote collaboration expected.
