What you'll do
Support ongoing portfolio company management through financial, strategic, and industry/market analyses and projects.
Conduct company-specific and industry-specific research using reports, expert interviews, surveys, and data analysis.
Support direct sourcing of acquisition targets (platforms and add-ons) via target identification, industry analysis, and initial outreach.
Manage and track deal sourcing initiatives across the firm, including direct sourcing and relationship management efforts.
Support all aspects of the due diligence process for new investments and add-ons.
Build financial models to assess potential targets and portfolio company performance.
Assist in preparing investment memoranda and other required investment process materials.
Requirements
0–2 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or strategy consulting.
Undergraduate degree from a leading institution with strong academic achievement.
Ability to work as a self-starter on ambiguous projects with limited oversight.
High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Basic knowledge of accounting concepts.
Strong verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to multitask and meet deadlines in an unstructured small-team environment.
Intellectual curiosity about investing, private equity, and business.
Willingness to travel for sourcing, diligence, and portfolio management activities.
