Summary
Netflix is expanding its Games offering and is hiring an Associate in Finance & Strategy to help define and scale the business globally. This role supports performance tracking, strategic planning, and executive decision-making through rigorous analysis, market insights, and metric development.
What you'll do
- Prepare quantitative analyses (model building, scenario testing, forecasting) to support portfolio performance tracking and strategy.
- Develop strategies to scale the games business globally.
- Conduct market research and competitive trend analyses and summarize findings for a senior executive audience.
- Shape and evolve performance metrics and maintain the broader valuation ecosystem as the games offering expands.
- Spearhead the format and adoption of automation and self-serving analytics tooling in partnership with Data Science & Engineering.
- Regularly present performance and progress reports in clear, executive-ready formats.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to identify trends, translate ideas into measurable strategies, and help coordinate execution across stakeholders.
- Operate effectively in a fast-growing, flat organization, handling a range of tasks autonomously.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in a highly analytical role (e.g., management consulting, investment banking, or strategy & operations at a top-tier media/technology company).
- Strong passion for games, Netflix IP, or the entertainment industry.
- Experience conducting quantitative analyses (including modeling) and qualitative analyses to drive insights and results.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting complex analyses to senior management.
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- High intellectual curiosity, willingness to challenge the status quo, and strong integrity/ethics.
- Bachelor’s degree with quantitatively focused coursework (preferred: Business, Economics, Statistics, or Engineering).
- Excellent proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint (ideally also Google Suite equivalents).

Conditions
Location & schedule:
- Based in Los Angeles office
- Hybrid schedule with in-office Tuesday–Thursday
Compensation:
- Annual salary range: $180,000–$275,000 (no bonuses)
- Ability to choose compensation mix between salary and stock options
