Office Assistant
Summary
Lensa is promoting an Office Assistant opportunity on behalf of SSM Health. The role supports a clinic, department, or program by providing administrative and clerical assistance to help operations and patient-facing workflows run smoothly.
What you'll do
Perform administrative duties under supervision and within established guidelines.
Greet patients/visitors and answer, screen, and route telephone calls.
File documents, distribute mail, and complete general clerical tasks.
Assist providers with programs/software as needed and assemble/maintain patient charts.
Make copies, schedule appointments, answer phones, and maintain records.
Maintain office inventory, order supplies, and ensure office equipment is functioning; request repairs/maintenance as needed.
Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members about patient care according to protocol.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education: High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience.
Experience: No experience required.
Ability to perform frequent data entry/keyboard use.
Physical capability for frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling 0–25 lbs; occasional 25–50 lbs; and frequent sitting/standing/walking/reaching with occasional bending/stooping/kneeling/squatting/twisting/gripping.
No required professional license or certifications.

Scheduled hours: 40 hours per week.
