Claims Specialist

As a Claims Specialist, you will manage healthcare claims processing including reviewing, investigating, and resolving claim rejections and denials while developing SOPs for consistent claims handling.

What you'll do

Make outbound calls to payer representatives to clarify claim denials and gather missing information. Correct and resubmit claims using CMS-1500 knowledge. Prepare and submit appeal letters for denied claims with proper documentation. Verify patient and claim information accuracy in the system. Manage daily claim work by prioritizing based on claim age and urgency.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in medical billing or healthcare operations handling claims and benefits. Strong organizational and process-oriented skills. Comfortable working in dynamic startup environments. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Tech-savvy with proficiency in chat, email, phone communication and digital tools.

Conditions
