Summary
Google is hiring a Product Activation Analyst for the YouTube Business Product Activation team to help bring products to market and bring market feedback back to product teams. The role focuses on strategic analysis, insights infrastructure, and cross-functional execution to scale adoption across partners and creators.
What you'll do
- Conduct complex strategic analyses to answer critical Product Activation questions using advanced SQL queries and spreadsheet analysis.
- Lead end-to-end development and deployment of centralized insights dashboards for Product Activation data.
- Perform opportunity sizing to prioritize products for activations, partnering with Product Activation Leads, Finance, Marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Define product activation Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and present recommendations to audiences up to executive leadership using strong storytelling and visualizations.
- Run requirements-gathering and project scoping sessions with subject matter experts, business users, and executive stakeholders to define reporting and business analysis needs.
Requirements
Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, or corporate advisory.
- 3 years of experience in a strategy and operations or consulting role.
- 3 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
Preferred:
- MBA or MS in a related field.
- 2 years of experience creating complex data sets, data modeling, and reporting.
- Experience presenting complex technical solutions and analyses to senior stakeholders.
- Experience using SQL or data analytics tools to deliver insights and recommendations.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams.
