Psychology Research Intern (Remote)

Summary

Mind Friend is a rapidly growing mental health technology startup focused on improving psychological well-being through innovative digital solutions and evidence-based content. The Psychology Research Intern will support remote research activities and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen the company’s understanding of mental health and inform product and educational content.

What you'll do

  • Conduct literature reviews and synthesize current research in psychology and mental health
  • Assist in designing and executing research studies related to mental health technology and interventions
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data and summarize findings for reports and publications
  • Collaborate with psychologists, developers, and content creators to inform product development
  • Support the creation of educational content based on research insights
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance research and platform offerings

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in Psychology, Mental Health, Behavioral Science, or a related field
  • Strong research and analytical skills, including experience with qualitative and quantitative methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting with strong time management
  • Passion for mental health advocacy and innovative technologies
  • Proficiency with research tools and software (e.g., SPSS, NVivo, or similar) is a plus
