Summary
LinkedIn is seeking an Associate, Strategic Finance to support global financial planning, reporting, and decision support for LinkedIn Talent Solutions. The role partners with senior finance leaders and cross-functional stakeholders across Sales and Operations to deliver executive-ready insights. This position provides exposure to SaaS finance fundamentals and strategic, high-impact analysis.
What you'll do
- Support monthly close, forecasting cycles, and global performance reporting for LinkedIn Talent Solutions.
- Develop clear, executive-ready business narratives using insights and data to influence stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to provide a metrics-oriented perspective for growth initiatives.
- Access, transform, and synthesize data from multiple sources to identify signals, trends, and risks.
- Execute ad hoc analyses to test hypotheses and answer well-defined business questions, translating results into actionable insights.
- Help establish standard workstreams and operational processes aligned to defined procedures.
- Support organizational culture and values (including diversity, inclusion, and belonging) through collaboration and participation in initiatives.
- Seek and provide constructive feedback to colleagues to improve outcomes.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in finance, accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or a related field.
- Preferred: Experience with financial systems and SQL to query, manipulate, and reconcile large datasets.
- Preferred: Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Skills: Data analysis, financial acumen, forecasting, problem solving, and project management.
Conditions
- Work arrangement: Hybrid (performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days based on business needs).
- Location options: San Francisco or Sunnyvale.
- Compensation: Pay range stated as $80,000–$128,000 annually; total compensation may include annual bonus, stock, and benefits.
