The Oncology Patient Scheduler 2 role supports oncology care by coordinating and scheduling complex treatments while providing high-quality patient service. This position is remote and focused on accurate appointment setup and verification of patient information.

• Schedule complex oncology treatments with meticulous attention to detail.
• Manage incoming patient calls and inquiries and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Obtain and verify patient demographic and insurance information required for scheduling.
• Screen and verify scheduling information to ensure accuracy of appointments.
• Coordinate processes and timing for special procedures or treatments as required by physicians.

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

• Ability to manage high call volumes while maintaining excellent customer service.

• Proficiency with multiple computer applications and scheduling software.

• Strong knowledge of complex medical terminology and scheduling protocols.

• Preferred: Experience in a healthcare setting (scheduling/patient coordination).

• Preferred: Familiarity with UHealth systems and processes.
