Media Analyst

Great Value Hiring is seeking a Media Analyst (Media Analysis Specialist) to analyze images and create clear written descriptions. The role focuses on helping AI models understand visual content through accurate context, tone, and meaning.

• Analyze images and write clear, detailed descriptions
• Identify key elements, context, and cultural references in visual content
• Evaluate content quality against established guidelines
• Apply consistent judgment across a variety of image types

• Strong writing ability with clarity and an engaging voice
• Understanding of internet culture, memes, trends, and visual storytelling on social platforms
• Strong attention to detail and ability to capture subtle context and implied meaning
• Ability to follow detailed guidelines and apply them consistently
• Proven writing experience
• Background in social media management or content creation
• Education or experience in journalism, literature, communications, or media studies
• Experience with annotation, transcription, or QA work (preferred but not required)

• Compensation: $30–$35 per hour
